Retail Insights event with Samsung and Salesforce

We were delighted to have been invited by our partner’s at Samsung to demo Cloudshelf on their stand during the Retail Insights event on the 20th of November, in Copenhagen.

Our Cloudshelf solution displayed seamlessly on Samsung’s Interactive Kiosk whilst running on their smart-signage kiosk solution. This enabled us to showcase our main use case to visitors; an Endless Aisle experience with a checkout functionality.

In addition to this, we were thrilled to also have the opportunity to collaborate with our partner’s at Salesforce who attended the event. It was a great time to meet new and existing contacts from the digital signage ecosystem and to see the current market trends within the Retail Tech industry.

During a conference, one of the key insights was the importance of the in-store experience and how the Omnichannel must also be implemented in-store where products that customers browse can then link to both the follow-on online & offline communication with the brands. An example of this we learned was how LEGO is currently connecting to its customers and succeeding.

During the event, many partners and clients of Samsung visited the stand to come and see the Cloudshelf demo in action. Feedback from these visitors expressed how impressed they were by the kiosk experience and really enjoyed seeing an All-In-One solution running so smoothly through the kiosk interface. Some of these companies included LEGO, IKEA and partner integrators like LCD Media

In particular, these companies highlighted the importance and value of content automation on Cloudshelf which enables retailers to create an Endless Aisle experience easily, and the checkout function that allows payment from anywhere in a store, directly through the scanning of a QR code where the shopper can then complete quick payment on their mobile.  

Some were more interested in the self-service capabilities to sell products when sales staff are  unavailable, and other retailers were looking for more of a clienteling application to help sales assistants to better present and sell their products.

We received brilliant feedback post event from Samsung who advised that they were really happy to have us on their stand, as it helped them to really solidify the Endless Aisle use cases through their fabulous interactive kiosk.

After a successful first event, we are now looking forward to planning to attend many more events together in 2024 - with one planned just around the corner next month with Salesforce.
