Supporting Jarrolds with their Endless Aisle kiosks
We were delighted when luxury department store Jarrolds reached out to us to explore the opportunity to roll-out Endless Aisle kiosks into their stores located in Norfolk. They were seeking a solution to bridge the gap between online and offline, to offer customers with an enhanced shopping experience in-store.
Jarrolds store on London Street is regarded as the region's favourite independent department store and has several stores within the Norfolk and Norwich regions. They take great pride in the unique shopping experience they offer their customers and a huge part of this is providing shoppers with a carefully sourced and curated selection of products that aim to offer every customer with something different. They stock a wide range of products from fashion to food, books and beauty, they generally have something for everyone.
The Endless Aisle experience:
Jarrolds is big on storytelling when it comes to the specialist brands they work with and the people who create the products, and they promise to deliver their customers with an excellent service in-store every time. They have also recently partnered with a local courier company in Norfolk who support them to offer customers with next day delivery. This works really well to support their Cloudshelf kiosks, as staff can use the super fast delivery time to encourage customers to browse and purchase larger goods items that can be delivered to their home the very next day.
They have installed multiple screens across their main department store, and each screen displays a unique range of products depending on the type of products that are located within that specific store area. By rolling out these great looking screens, they have equipped the store staff to go above and beyond with customers, by using the screens as a sales tool to showcase particular product ranges, often larger goods items such as furniture, wine crates and hampers. Staff appear as experts across all departments and can help shoppers to find the items that they will fall in love with.
With our interactive retail media feature, they can also create as many digital promotional advertisements which display on the screens continuously whilst the screens are not being interacted with. Their beautiful imagery from their website speaks for itself and each display around the store has it's specific call-to-action message inviting customers to discover more products and every screen focuses on a specific range depending on the area in which it's located in the store.
Jarrolds approached The Barcode Warehouse to source their top-of-the-range Elo All-In-One 22" devices, which are perfect for retail and look fantastic in the way that they have been wall mounted with specific call-to-action signage around the exterior of the devices. The screens are running on ChromeOS Flex' secure and efficient kiosk system.
We're thrilled to be working with Jarrolds to support them with their omnichannel strategy, and we look forward to expanding to more locations and devices in the near future.
