How Cloudshelf and partners showcased digital commerce innovation at the Samsung Synergy event.

It was a fantastic experience to be part of the first Samsung Synergy event, hosted by Salesforce partners on 27th June, at the Samsung KX Centre in King's Cross, London. This event provided a great opportunity for Cloudshelf to collaborate with leading industry partners, deliver an insightful presentation on digital commerce for retail, and participate in a panel discussion, followed by networking with some outstanding tech partners.

During our presentation, our CEO, Giles Corbett, introduced Cloudshelf and its purpose for retail, highlighting the economic benefits our omnichannel solution brings to retailers. Giles concluded the presentation with an impressive demo of our solution in action on Samsung's Interactive Kiosk, running ChromeOS Flex. Our demonstration sparked much interest, leading to some great follow-up conversations during the networking session.

The main points we highlighted during our presentation included:

  • Transforming store economics with digital displays
  • Enhancing the top line by boosting sales beyond physical store limitations
  • Reducing the cost of goods sold by mutualising inventory across all locations
  • Lowering fixed costs by establishing smaller stores closer to customers

We were delighted to collaborate with our partners at M-Cube, where we combined our solutions to create a Digital Commerce booth. Visitors could explore our All-In-One omnichannel solution for retail. Additionally, with the support of Viva's tap-to-pay technology, we showcased our instant checkout through Viva's payment terminal, using their advanced payment technology.

Overall, it was a great opportunity to collaborate with industry partners, and we look forward to future events.
