Cloudshelf information isn't complete or up to date

Usually the device has lost its internet connection. How to check and reset it.

This can happen if your device is no longer connected to the internet.

Cloudshelf carries on displaying on a device even if it loses its internet connection. However, any information not yet 'cached' in the device's memory won't be displayed, and some search functions won't work.

Solution: check or reset the internet connection

  • Exit Guided Access or screen pinning
  • Go to the settings panel
  • Check you are connected to Wi-Fi or 4G. If not, reconnect to your network
  • Open the browser
  • Try to load another website (your store or Google, say). If it loads, all should be fine

You can then relaunch the Cloudshelf app and everything should update correctly.
